This is a place for me to post my opinions, rants, musings etc. I try to update on a weekly basis, but don't count on it. Making a living often interferes with good clean fun doesn't it?
You are encouraged to comment. I love it when people find factual errors or lapses in grammar, spelling and logic. It's like having an editor who works for you and not against you. I can then improve my blog at no extra cost to me. Such a deal......
If you are within a reasonable range of the guidelines below your comment will appear, even if I passionately disagree with its content. Guidelines for sounding off are below.
Here's how you can help:
- Stay on topic.
- Don't post spam, self promotional ads, porn or other such debris.
- Strong opinions are encouraged, but personal attacks are not.
- I like a good cuss word now and then and you will find them in my postings. But cussin' is best done in moderation. Too much of it and its unique flavor is diluted. So put the lid down on your potty mouth once in a while...a little bit goes a long way.
- Any kind of racist, sexist or hate speech is not allowed except in the context of quoting someone else or in a discussion of such language. What's racist, sexist or hate speech? That's for me to decide. I have a degree in English literature that says I have a license to do that :}.
- Feel free to piss me off, but try to do it in such a way that makes me think. As George Carlin said,"Think, while it's still legal."
- Feel free to contact me directly using my e-mail form. I love to get mail and I will try to respond. Don't be offended if you don't get an answer though. You're always welcome to try again.
- Do you want to quote me? I'd appreciate a credit and a link back. But don't worry if you forget. I can't afford expensive lawyers so unless you are planning to make piles of $$$$ off my words of wit, you have nothing to worry about.
- I retain the right to delete comments or ban individuals who consistently misbehave. You can complain if you want, but my final decision is final. If you don't like that, well cry me a river. There are lots of other blogs out there for you to infest.
